Working in the City for a Financial Services organisation, I am yet another cog in the corporate machine.  I inhabit a world which revolves around spreadsheets, share prices and skinny Starbucks.  In a bid to save my soul from being consumed and spat out by this heartless beast, I  decided to set up this blog as a chronicle of the jaunts I embark on to inject some joie de vivre into my life  and to counter-act the effects of  business jargon and effective networking. Whilst my blog posts range from being about the sublime (attending a Lady Gaga concert) to the ridiculous (discovering a narcosis-inducing bath oil in Space NK),  the common thread that runs through them all is that they are fun, light-hearted and a little bit cheeky….a little bit like wearing a pink thong under a black suit.
